S.S. Shipping Private Limited incorporated in 1992, 24th April. We are Shipping Agents, Stevedoring Agents, Chartering Agents, Bunkering Agents, Ship Chandlers, Ship Repairers, Ship Crew Recruitment Agents, Offshore Suppliers, Clearing and Forwarding Agents and also Transport Agents handling Break Bulk Vessels supplying Raw Materials to Cement industry in Sri Lanka such as Puttalam Cement Company Limited, Tokyo Cement Company Lanka Limited, Lanka cement Limited and Larsen & Toubro Ceylinco Private Limited, and in all three Ports in Sri Lanka (Colombo/ Galle/ Trincomalee). We also handle Steel Billets and Wire Rods Vessels for Ceylon Heavy Industries & Construction Company Limited in Sri Lanka and we are also Fleet Owners and involve in Transportation from Ports to the Receiver's Destination.

We have a record of Vessels handled from 05th September 1994 to 20th April 2001 a number of 576 Vessels and as a break-up we have handled 481 Vessels as Agency Operations, 87 Vessels as Stevedoring Operations and 08 Vessels as Bunkering operations.
Port wise handling , Colombo 137 Vessels, Galle 265 Vessels and Trincomalee 174 Vessels with the Cargo wise handling Clinker and Gypsum 278 Vessels, Bagged Cement 89 Vessels and steel and General Cargo 209 Vessels.
